Food is absolutely amazing. I come here every time I’m in Cervantes and it’s always incredible. The chips are those really yummy crispy crunchy on the outside and soft inside so it’s just perfect. Lemon was also free so that was nice. And the park across the road has lovely sheltered tables to eat at too. Will 100% continue to be a returning customer.

Absolutely amazing fish and chips. Fish was fresh and chips were amongst the best we've ever had, delightfully crisp and light. Reasonably priced and pleasant service as well. Had the seafood platter too and the scallops was delicious.

We arrived at a time when it was a little crowded in the early evening. Only one man does everything from serving, taking calls to cooking, quite busy for just one person. But he seems quite calm, friendly and helpful. Although we had to wait a bit for the food to be served, it was worth it at all. Seafood is locally fresh and perfectly fried. Reasonable price for a local shop.

This restaurant was great! I ordered fish & chips, which came with drink for $25! Fish was fresh, food was cooked perfectly, and the amount of salt and vinegar on the food was perfect too. I went with take away, and the owner wrapped food with papers, which was in my opinion well thought to avoid food get soggy with moisture. There are a few negative reviews, but honestly I think they didn’t know how to order right amount or they came to a wrong restaurant instead of one they intended to go (there is a fancier/more expensive place near by). I don’t think those reviews are genuine. I love restaurants ran by locals! This spot was right on place for me to pick food up, drive to a beach and eat! Highly highly recommended!

Amazing Local Dining Experience! 1. Wishing the grandfather (owner) good health! 2. The food is absolutely delicious. 3. Honest owner and friendly service – I’d give 6 stars out of 5 if I could! 4. My son genuinely said the owner was so kind. 5. Highly, highly recommended. 6. Truly felt the spirit of Australia through this meal. We loved the local dishes. My son ate with all ten fingers, completely satisfied. The owner even advised us to order a smaller dish because portions are huge, not to push for the expensive options. The dish he recommended was so generous that we had leftovers to take home. This isn’t a tourist trap – it’s an authentic local gem.
